TEMPO Journal x The Tan Challenge

Set a new PR at Melbourne's home of running!

Challenge Ended: October 31, 2018
When you think of running in Melbourne, you think of The Tan. The iconic gravel track, a stone's throw from the Yarra River and the vibrant Federation Square, is one of Australia's favourite running routes.

But when was the last time you went all out for a full lap? When was the last time you felt your lungs and legs burning as you charge up Anderson Street, keeping the pace on past The Shrine and lunging for the line in the last stretch before The Pillars?

In May 2018 young Melbourne runner Matt Clarke took the nearly 4 year old CR from Olympian Brett Robinson, setting a new time to beat of 10:37. In celebration of Clarke's amazing feat, we're challenging you to hit The Tan and smash your current PR in the month of October.

Once you've completed the challenge, you'll be sent a completion email with details on how you could win 12 months of Strava Summit and a money-can't-buy TEMPO cap.
