Special Club Ride: Cycle Club Zurich x Pas Normal Studios Gravel Ride & visit the UCI CX World Championships - BE PART OF IT.
Meet: 09:00 at Cycle Store Zurich for Coffee
Distance: 38km with 1000hm, expected average speed 20km/h
Ride leaders: Pas Normal Studios ambassadors Andrew McLennaghan and Sune Nicolajsen.
Sunday morning will take us out above the "Gold Coast" passing flashy houses and gorgeous hotels on the hunt for some premium gravel.
We will return to Cycle Store Zurich for Refreshments.
UCI CX World Championships:
If you are interested in watching the World Championships live, a group of us will meet at 13:00 at Cycle Store Zurich and head out to Dübendorf. We will take public transport to get there. Tickets for the event are purchasable at the gate. If you join the Ride in the morning you can bring casual closing and leave it at the Store during the Ride. There are no showers but you can certainly wash yourself if you like.
Other information:
- This is a gravel/CX ride. It is highly advised to bring spare tubes and patch equipment.
- Bring snacks and hydration.
- We will attempt to regroup enough times to keep the ride together, but please make sure this is a ride you are comfortable doing (technical terrain, steep climbs) and load the route on your computer device should you be separated from our group.
- For everyone's safety, please obey all traffic lights and signs.
