Afternoon Weight Training

21.1 AT miles. Big push early in the day to get to Blood Mountain, the highest point on the AT in Georgia. Very cool mountain with a nice view. Had trail magic in the morning for breakfast with a beauty of a Beyond meat English muffin. Kept us fueled up. Got to Neels Gap and ate an entire red baron pizza and we were welcomed in by Orange Kitty. Magical moment. Got some supplies and headed on out into the rain. A lot of people were stressing about the rain, but we said screw it and went for it (gunna get wet at some point). Made it to shelter a mile off trail along with another couple who was as dumb as us. Super awesome people at the shelter there and all 8 of us squeezed in at Whitley gap while we got beat with rain and wind. Very fun time and the hiking felt pretty epic like Lord of the Rings.
