Felt great the entirety of the time on trail, but trekking poles took a shit around the turnaround. Checked all the boxes: no smoke, wildlife, flowers, ridgeline hiking, solid mileage, and some elevation gain. 👍 Winner day all around. 

Seems possible to create a loop in the future by connecting Joe Lake to Gold Creek trail and heading back east of the PCT 🤔
