*Days 6-9 aren’t syncing for some reason! It’s a lot of miles through amazing terrain so I’ll work on that.

On this day I was massively indecisive. As you can see, I approached the Santa Teresa Wilderness like I was going to do it, and then got totally overwhelmed + my asthma was acting up post-dust storm and opted instead for the Buford Hill Alternate Route. Met LeeRoy in his cool jeep and chatted about life and death and mental health in the middle of the road for a while and all in all had a good day. I beat myself up a little, but the Santa Teresa’s are a largely off trail endeavor and add about 20 miles to an already burly and long section between Klondyke and Safford. I’d love to come back and explore that area another time though!
