Saw the report that three generous souls had recently rebolted the 4 pitch “classic,” condor condiment. Swapping star-dryvens & SMC death hangers for modern expansion bolts made the route (which had been of interest for a while) much more appealing.

The first pitch feels tenuous for the grade, but mostly because the climbing is a bit insecure on small, sometimes dirty feet. However, it is protected by 9 bolts in 165 ft. PG13?

The remaining pitches were more runout, but felt very secure. Pitch 2 and 3 would accept creative gear. I placed 4 non-bolt pieces on P2 to supplement the 4 bolts in 100 feet. Mei didn’t bother with extra placements on her lead of P3 finding the climbing secure enough.

Afterwards we did a tour of some old favorite routes topping out a few more pinnacles.
