Only one big climb up Buck and one big descent down Gauntlet. Lots of punchy, chunky climbing. The end is like a false summit. You come out of the interior loop onto Happy Valley fire road and there is still 9+ miles to go. Oh, and in July it’s gonna be HOT and Humid. Great views of the cove though. So if you decide you’re over it you can always take a dip. It’s possible pros could maybe potentially do two interior loops before heading back to the start finish. But that just me thinking USAC may want it to be a bit longer. Didn’t take many photos today but a course preview video is in the works.
