6:10am wake up. 7:20am in the the road.

Very cold night and morning. A good breakfast and I was on my way.

Once again I found myself not needing water in the mornings. I did 9 miles before I even had a sip. 

Everything felt amazing today. Which shows in the performance. When your mind is right & leading with a positive attitude the body can achieve incredible things.

10 miles in a Trail Angel from “Camas” of all places gave me a monster energy drink and a load of cookies and snacks. WHAT A LEGEND! 

I had done 19 miles by 2:00pm, today I was flying. Again amazing things happen when you feel good!

At the 25 mile mark my legs starting tightening up and lactate hit hard. I met another PCT biker named Mathacus who gave me that extra motivation to get up the mountain.

Today was my greatest hike to date.

I set up camp at mount Adams and watched a beautiful yet very peculiar smoked out sunset. You could see the forest fires blaze in the distance.

Overall I’m incredible proud of myself today. Big mileage even bigger elevation!
