Today was without a doubt the most dangerous and best days / hikes of my life! 2 intense glacial crossings. 50mph winds at the top of the mountain that would literally sweep you off your feet. One wrong step and you were a goner. Strange as it is I found this very exciting, my adrenaline pumping all day long.

The penultimate day before a refill is always the super light pack day. I was able to jog the downhills for the first 9 miles until I hit elevation. 

Passing through old snowy mountain was just like a scene out of “the lord of the rings”, It was Epic! 

I got phone service for the first time in 5 days. 

there was a couple of mountain lions around that evening in the distance. The high winds and mist made it hard to take a decent picture. Frankly I was already in enough Imminent danger of myself on top of that mountain, see a couple of mountain lions didn’t phase me.

Todays day was awesome, the night was a different story...
