Warm Up

Solid hike today with Matt Rabasco. My July grid is complete, but this was a great chance to bag a couple more summit pints. Kinda bummed I didn't get any crowns today, but the conditions just weren't conducive to speed, certainly not while carrying a 30L pack with 2 pints of ice cream in lunch boxes with ice packs. I'm close on a lot now which is way better than I was before today. I've still got to do all these mountains a bunch more, so I'll get the crowns eventually.

Nice to finally have a decent time on this traverse, though I still think low-5hr is possible in ideal conditions. The climbs are rough, but the sun, temperature, and humidity weren't overly conducive to speed.
