First e-bike ride back home and tire popped :(

1st Marathon - pretty much failed and inaccurate

I was so stoked to plan out my very first marathon and run it self supported, wanted to see if there was any crossover to 100 days of thru hiking and running a marathon… turns out… very little! 🥴 wore my hiking shoes (Salomon X4 Ultra) and they were not good for the pavement and sidewalk. All my lower joints were in pain at mile 9 to the end and increasingly more painful. Makes sense to condition your body before with run training, not the same as hiking. Used my 58L Osprey pack and had 3 liters of liquid plus a bunch of snacks. After that mile 9, I really slowed down and ended up walking every pause I took, very humbling. My watch also paused for 25 minutes so I just had t assume that was 2.5 miles 😵‍💫
