Two days left on the LT! So close. 
I crossed the newly finished Rootville Bridge. The box steps and approach the trail crew did in post season looks fantastic! I’ve already gotten compliments from hikers on the new bridge. Also, Stratton Mountain Caretaker Hut is still standing so that’s a good sign. 
Back at Kid Gore Shelter! Hopefully it doesn’t rain but if it did, it’d be ok because the construction crew of the ‘22 season put new shingles on the shelter. I also passed over some lovely southern trail crew work today through the Lye Brook Wilderness! Great work. Don’t tell anyone but my feet have been dry since the Breadloaf Wilderness… am I even on the right trail?
