Turkey Boy kicked ass. He did sub 3:45. All the training and all the time spent practicing and preparing paid off. We made a plan and it all came together.

Official chip time was 3:28.19 - 128/551 overall.  31/72 males 40-49. 

All I wanted was to go sub 3:30.  And even though my guts weren’t onboard with that plan I still pulled it off. Mile 18 had a fast visit to a Job Johnny then I had time to make up. My goal was coming back into view. A little help from the Fireball Bartender helped with my nutrition around mile 22. Some young buck out kicked me on the last 0.1 but I put up a fight. What a day.
