Gorgeous, and difficult trail. Breaking spiderwebs the whole way; saw no one in the whole 15 miles. Bear Creek trail is rather overgrown with Poison Oak, has steep, slippery tread and some large downed trees that are difficult to navigate around. The pristine redwood grove along Peters Creek might be the most scenic Old-growth in the Santa Cruz mountains for now after the Big Basin fire.
