Day 3: layover day in Volcano National Park 🌋

Last night we found an alternative way to Hilo that involved some gravel riding and after checking in with the backcountry office this morning, we sent it! So dang cool.  10/10 recommend the Chain of Craters Road to Kalapana route. Biking over tons of old lava flows is not something you get to do everyday nor should it be something you pass up. Probably the coolest ride I’ve ever done. ❤️‍🔥🙌🏻
