Afternoon Trail Run

Injured foot, but still had to get out and ease my mind

I was feeling poetic and emotional, so I put together a poem to help ease my feelings

Come up the hill
Where life’s thrill,
in this little bubble.
Get your fill — up to the brim — 
of your little bottle.
One day, that tiny little bottle filled to the brim of life’s thrill’s will spill, whistling away into the freezing breezeway of the dark. 
Many things remain unchanged, but one can hope that it wasn’t all in vain. Let that little bottle of dreams be the inspiration that someone else needs to continue living out theirs.
