First backyard ultra.
Run a 4.3 mile loop every hour until you can’t go anymore. GPS was not accurate so here are the stats.

8 loops = furthest I’ve ever run. 34.3 miles. 3,200 feet of elevation gain. Worked to keep HR in the aerobic zone.

Energy, physically felt fine and could have kept going but my hip started hurting on the last lap and, tbh, didn’t want to continue running. Won the Chong for 5 of the 8 laps.

Hike the inclines. Run everything else.

Couldn’t have gotten through it without Rick Glass and Lord of the Rings (Andy’s version).
