I read Deuteronomy 8 this morning, summarizing the Israelites 40 years of wandering the Sinai Peninsula, and I felt a new level of wonder at this: “For all these forty years your clothes didn’t wear out, and your feet didn’t blister or swell. Think about it.” I did think about it, and that’s a bona fide miracle.

My feet DID blister and swell over the course of these last five days, but I’m back in Kent now — thanks to a ride from my friend Gera Snelling — and I’m looking forward to some rest and recovery.
