Metro North up to Ossining cause I'm not built different, then a new ferry (for me) across to the west side of the Hudson, town called Haverstraw. 2 hours north along the river to West Point, they didn't let me in because it's a game day (aren't they letting everyone in?) and it's Biden's America, cost me a 200' climb up the Storm King foothills around the campus but whatever. All I wanted to do was touch the Douglas MacArthur statue. Storm King Mountain Highway might be the best road ride in this valley I'm not kidding. RIPPING on the downhill. Another hour to the bridge and then we're back on the east side. Celly at Hudson Valley Brewery. 4 pack for the train home but two exploded after falling out of the paper bag I was carrying them in. I'm in such a good mood I'm just happy it wasn't all four.

Great day, awesome ride, new route unlocked. Peak cycling season is here at last
